Mr. Thanh
Artisan
He is our second generation and born in 1955, he knew how to weave the lampshades and baskets when he was a child. He set up lampshade workshop when he was 18 years old. He has experienced the craft market up and down for many years. At the moment, he owns the workshop 1000 m2 in the village with 3 floors and hundreds of weavers over 3 provinces. Every day, his job is arranging material and truck to deliver to weaver’s houses and collect finished products to workshop for completing process.
Mrs. Hue
Artisan
She is our 2nd generation and born in 1964. She got married when she was 20 years old and moved to Kim Son, Ninh Binh province where seagrass material was grown. She soon set up workshop with many ladies in the village to learn making seagrass basket, seagrass lampshade, water hyacinth dish… At the moment, she also has workshop 1000m2 with 2 floors. Her workshop has drier for finished products, yard for material. She created jobs for many ladies over Ninh Binh province.

Our family own 2 mills in different place, far from Hanoi center around 40km. One mill, we do mainly rattan furniture as rattan chair, wooden items, rattan bar stools… and another mill, we do mainly rattan lamp shades, basket….
